Default repairing arch liner

Damaged the plastic arch liner on the car, rang up the dealer for a replacement and the price was laughable for a piece of plastic so I think it may be worth trying to mend it. Will fibre glass be flexible enough to do this job?

Not a chance unless you fix it in position as you need to bend it about a fair bit to remove and refit mate.

That he does my friend lol.
Personally I would just get a piece of metal and drill 2 holes either side of the tear/and metal piece and then rivet it on there to hold it together mate

Try a soldering iron and a plastic coat hanger, it's how broken motorcycle fairings usually get repaired.

cable ties. drill several small parallel holes either side of the damage (as many as is required about 2 cm apart and just big enough to take the cable tie) and use ties to hold it together then cover with black silicone sealant.

see here for the basic idea http://www.oilyhands.co.uk/Plastic_repair.htm

this is probably best done off the car to enable access to the back to thread the ties back through. silicone to be applied once back on the car.
