Default Evo X FQ360

Friend of mines bought one three weeks ago from a dealer .... Its done 600 miles & he hates the bloody thing.
Anyone got any contacts that could take the thing off his hands. He knows hes in for a shock.
TIA

Xtreme deal in mainly evos and GTRs but they have all sorts of other performance cars in there too so may be a good option

A dealer won't want it as it'll be very hard to shift. Unless he pratically gives it to them.

Maybe if he trades it in against something else? Better chance rather than just trying to sell on.

Isn't there a flock of Evos sat in Portsmouth or somewhere. - I dread to think how much your mate will have lost on it!

Problem with car's like the Evo, is that at £1:40 a litre, they are so expensive to run. Plus they lose money hand over fist. The fast jap rally rep car era is over. The Germans make cars just as fast, are better built, and residuals are far better.

Bet most people on here now who had an Impreza years ago, would take an M3, RS4 etc over any Evo/Impreza now.

There are far nice ways to drive quickly.

After my time with Scoobys, i bought a 350z. Very boring in comparison. Then 2.5yrs ago i went for an RS4. Amazing car and I still love it. Two things bother me however...
I don't know what to go for next as it's quite a financial leap to something like a GTR or 911 turbo... I do miss the scooby for those raw Sunday blasts. Something ive never especially got up and gone out to do in the RS as it's just too... Er nice.

+1 Went from a Scoob to an S4, and now Golf GTi (the Audi was "nice", but boring - Golf is much more involving for me)

Do still miss the Scoob... well, the sound anyway.

In a similar boat as the next thing I really want is a wallet-melter

Good luck with the EVO though - tough break.

I've got an FQ360

Out of the box they are not that special, you need a remap to take them to 400hp and at the same time remove the boost limiter on 1st gear. The one I bought had lowering springs and the ride was horrible, I replaced with HKS coilovers and now eveything is good again. This is my 6th evo and by far the best. The 360 looks the part with all the carbon and with a decent set of wheels (Volks) i'm happy with it although I have a GTR itch I still need to scratch..
