Default My new ride 535d

Well after exactly a year with my R33 GT R tonight I watched it being loaded on to a transporter which is taking it to its new owner in Germany.

So today I put a deposit down on this 535d, collect it Tuesday or Wednesday. Its more than enough power and the six speed auto change is so slick I could hardly feel it. It looks and drives like brand new and has quite a few 'nice to have' goodies.

Your thoughts. (don't be brutal though )

Fabulous motors - it'll be fine in the snow - you turn the traction off and drive it like a real car

Wanted one for ages but not in our winters and not where I live up this hill! Enjoy it! I went the Audi S3 route in the end. My first German car. I bloody love it. But them performance diesels, wow, superb machines.

Yes and if my bollox are to remain intact they won't be on my car.

Wouldn't mind seeing some pics when they're done though.

Great choice of car.

The 19's in that pic only come with normal tyres from BMW, so all good!

I had them on mine and were better than the 18's with run-flats.

Each to their own; but I hate all alpina alloys. I don't know why they insist on sticking to the same design theme.

Agree.
Unless they're actually where they belong - like on a real Alpina.

21 round town. Went for a blast down the M1, about 90 miles round trip, to watch a track day at Donington on Saturday and it's bumped it up to 25 now. Average speed is 27. It is relatively new to me though so I am still giving it plenty.
