£3250 to spend on a van
Im after a transporter, vito or transit size van!
Ideally the vw as they are pukka vans, im starting up my own stainless steel fabrication company so it needs to be a clean crisp van, dont mind doing mechanical on it but we will see whats available!
Any ideas let me know please!

Toyota hi ace, i had one for 74000 miles and it never missed a beat, only thing i changed was the front pads and the dealers were telling me it would probably make it to the next service without changing them, but i thought as they were only £58.00 i would splash the cash.
I drove it to switzerland and milan a couple of times only stopping for fuel and coffee and a leak and was fresh as a daisy on arrival, ie no back ache which is more than can be said for the transporter, you know you have done the miles in that even with a mk5 golf drivers seat.
It's the position of the steering wheel in relation to the seat and the gear stick thats the problem on the vw, where as the toyota is very car like and nice to drive long distances.
I should of kept it, i have an old t4 transporter crew cab pick up and its a good solid van but it has cost me a few quid to keep it going.
P.s AVOID THE VITO AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE A SERIOUS MONEY PIT. sorry for shouting but you get my point.

Will you be coming anywhere near the city? If so don't forget you will need a van newer than 2001. If not theremust be some real bargains out there. Loads of vans having to be sold by people forced to sell.

As above......vito's are bollox especially in the cold months....heater plugs weld themselves in the head
Vivaro vans are ****e.....I've just had to have the box rebuilt again...£500 , bearings are crap
Never had a fault with a transit
Make sure you buy the best you can afford instead of looking for the newest.....your van earns £'s for you so you can't afford it off the road
