Jaaag X-type 2.5 & 3.0 Sport
Evening Gentleman,
Considering a 2.5 or 3.0 as a cruiser for the winter. Wondered if any useful experience / advice about?
Have heard there is little difference in MPG between the two, so might as well go for the 3.0.
Was thinking of spending between £3-5k, ideally around 60k miles with FSH.
Main question is reliability. Parkers say good, whatcar report several potential problems?
WC seems to suggest they have suspension, steering, gear box and clutch problems, which are all expensive to fix!? Yet, parkers make no mention and give it 4 out of 5 for reliability.
I was under the impression these were pretty reliable, any real world experiences?
Also, does the auto have a tiptronic function or is it a standard auto before 08'?
Cheers
