Landcruiser Amazon
we have the optional lapbelt on the very rear set of seats, so the car seats 8with 7 proper seat belts
(still has a bit of boot space),
and we regularly have all 8 seats full, which is just the familly and a friend of one of the kids

Defender 110 td5, which has 9 seats and is therefore technically a minibus and doesn't have to pay congestion charge.
Latest X5 has 7 seat option I think, but would still go Discovery 3/4 - the merits of the design outweigh the unreliability. Mine just passed 100k yesterday and it's almost like new.

I'm going to sound like an 'elf an safety' nutter but I have real issues with some of these so called 7 seaters. In many of these vehicles the occupants in the most rear seats have their heads right next to the rear screen and not really protected by a crumple zone.
A rear ended shunt at anything over 30 mph would mean certain death or brain injuries severe enough to make death seem a better option.......
Maybe I'm just getting old and worrying about things too much

VW T4 or T5 caravelle with the 4 motion or syncro option. (same thing)
buy well and it probably will lose virtually none of its value.
extremely sought after vehicles and in 4 x 4 mode, bloody rare.

Pathfinder pikey? I think you are getting confused with Shoguns
I love my Pathfinder, so much space for the kids and dog and when the seats are folded down it's like having a truck.

Must be a Northern thing. Pikeys down here drive Mitsubishis and transit vans.
Anyway fair enough you make a sensible suggestion to the list and get called a pikey by two stuck up Porsche owners. I should have known better, the only two seven seaters that will suffice your snobbery Trout are an x5 or discovery.

The Pathfinder is a truck - that's why it's not in the CAP Black Book for cars, or have an NCAP rating.

I had a Pathfinder. Decent motor but based on the Navara pick up so not refined at all. Feels like you are driving a commercial vehicle
The Disco i had after was a whole different experience. Excellent, although expensive to run and unreliable
