Audi A3 importing?

Hi all
Has anyone any experience of importing an A3 (well, I guess just an Audi actually) as my father is considering doing it and any feedback would be a help.

I've imported my last two S3's without any hassle, the best and most highly recommended place is www.sportimport.co.uk
The website says the only deal in S3's or TT's but if you email him he will import an A3 for you.
You don't give your money to him either, you place it with the german dealer which is a far safer way of importing.
