Default Mercedes B200

I followed 1 of these on the motorway today and thought it was a nice looking car (must be getting old), been looking on PH and AT and the prices aren't that bad from a dealer (2006 - 2007my).
The figures from Parkers show the only petrol one to consider is the 2.0 (turbo out of price range for a low mileage car) but there aren't any owners reviews on the petrol models

Has anyone had/ got 1 of these for a bit of feedback?

getting bored with the Cooper after 3 months

The later ones are meant to be better. Other than that, its a bit of a quiet model. not a lot of them sold I don't think as it sits funny in the model range. Meant to be a nice car to drive though.

The facelift i belive are from mid 2008, probably out of my price range

There do seem to be quite a few tuning boxes for the diesels? i wouldn't rule out a 2.0TD but only if it was quieter than the Audi PD engines (had 3 of them and found them noisey and rough)

I'd ask on something like mbclub. I know you can have them chipped (as usual) no idea on noise though. Not a common car though as I think people who want small Benz get a A-Class and people who want a bit more room go for a C-Class estate and bypass these completely.
