Default Help choosing a car for my mum

My mum has a Honda jazz at the moment and it has been a fantastic car. 100% reliable, refined engine and very practical.

Her arthritis is getting worse and she now finds it difficult to get into and out of the car because it is quite low down.
She wants a car where the seat is higher so its easy for her to slip into and out of.

Other criteria are

£12000 or less

Still under warranty

Very reliable

Four doors

Auto

Boot large enough to carry a weekly shop

Economical petrol engine.

Sorry it's not a very exciting thread!

Lol @ brun. That would be one way of getting rid of it I suppose!

Should have said it needs to be compact, at the most it can be a tad bigger than the Jazz.

I have bad memories of Peugeots, she had a 206 before the jazz and it was a horrible thing. Coarse engine, poor auto box and hard steering.

I thought that the Jazz's were fairly high?
The Pug was my initial thought but moving from a solid Honda to a frog ****box doesn't make sense.
