Mercedes CLK 320
Is it the W209? Made on and after 2002 to 2006.
What are they like overall? anyone had any first hand experience of owing/running one?
Personally, I'm really starting to love the look of them especially when all the windows are down

The C209/A209 is based on the W203 C-Class.
It replaced the C208 CLK-Class after 2004 which were the first car to carry the CLK moniker.
Available as a coupe (C209) and a cabriolet (A209), and is manufactured with.
The cabriolet is designated with an A, as in CLK500A.
We haven't owned a CLK320 but have run a SLK320 (M112/113 engine) for the last 5 years (silky smooth and good mid range torque).
Watch for corrosion issues around boot lock and rear arches (inners).

After 2004 they were galvanised and I think the cockpit was refreshed so those are the ones to go for.
The bigger engines don't actually cost that much more to run (apparently) so consider the condition of the car more than the specific powerplant.
5t.
