Still better looking than the Subaru hatch.

Hopefully they won't go silly with the pricing.

This was the company's downfall when it parted company with Honda in 1994/5....thats what killed their market, cars like the R3 platform Rover 216 was priced against the Focus (and the superior Honda Concerto predacessor)...which was insane as it a was car designed and originally intended to compete with the Corsa/Fiesta segment and was supposed to replace the Metro

This idiotic/greedy idea may have seemed fine when it was new and there was a loyal customer base who fell for it hook line and sinker, but when it got old and the market eventually realised it was poor VFM, sales dropped like a bomb. Hence the MG years price slashes, which further ruined any loyalty left from people who foolishly paid over £16K for a Rover R3 200/25 previously (once bitten twice as shy).

The marque has no image nor loyalty anymore, so for it to succeed, it should undercut the likes of a basic Hyundai. If not it'll fail (again).

Looked at prices; List looks too much to me.

When you can get a basic Octavia lists for less than £15K OTR, why look elsewhere?
