Default audi a3 3.2 v6 quattro s line sport

I've been looking at couple of 94 plates on Autotrader but I dont know much about them so I'm interested in opinions on one as a replacement for my Classic Scooby Wagon

So, as Terry Tibbs would say, "Talk to me..........."

Had an Audi as a replacement for my Classic.

If you want the refinement that the Scoob doesn't have, you're laughing. The Audi has it in abundance.
The downside? It's boring as ****.

And I had a fettled bi-turbo'd 2.7 V6 (S4 Avant).... like a rather quick armchair.

What specifically was dull about it, acceleration, handling, noise?

Handling and ride. No sense of event or sensation.

The noise and engine were great. Just a big luxo-barge imho.

However in a straight line - a fookin rocket.

Thanks for that.

I was thinking about one of these as I've been looking at e46 330i Beemers, either a touring or a saloon.
The Beemer gets more positive so that stays top of my list to look at to replace the Scooby

I bought one new on a 54 plate. Nice motor, and I only really got shut of it because the warranty was up, and I'd got a DSG model, so was worried if it went pop. Was a cracking, well built and put together motor, but had a lack of driver involvement. Still, I'd have another one.
