Default Hotter Fiesta??

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/au...sta_s1600.html

Surely Ford can do better than 132bhp? The Fiesta's chassis is awesome.

They are with the turbo model later this year.

I'd have thought though that anyone buying one of these ltd runs would maybe fiddle a bit and squeeze more power out? 8.2 0-60 isn't really mind blowing, especially for a hot hatch. My then 20 year old 205 GTi did it in 7.7 with the same power-ish

Even the old ST had 150BHP and could be upgraded to 185BHP if I remember correctly.

But what was the kerbside weight of the pug ? with all the safety gear that`s fitted now days I bet the fiesta is almost twice the pugs weight and the fuel economy will be better lol so they dont really compare in that way.

I believe thats about right, the 1.6 being a tiny bit lighter than the 1.9

I doubt the Fezza is over 1300-1400kg

Old St was a 2.0. The S1600 is exactly that ... a 1.6

The Ford approved mountune kit meant it reached 185bhp. I would imagine that would be quite fun in a Fiesta.
