Collector's Car- Future Classic Z3M Coupe

Original tyres!
They'd have to be changed.
From what I could tell, it seems to have only had 3 oil changes in 12 years?
Irrespective of mileage I'd want it to have been done yearly or twice yearly at least.
Still, nice car.

I've had a Z4M Roadster and if the schedule is the same (sure it will be) its when the mileage indicator tells you (goes through 500 gallons of fuel before a service is due) or 2 years whichever is sooner.
Should of had an Inspection 1 and 2 by now no matter what the mileage is. Even if its not done many miles the parts deteriorate.

They know but stretch the service intervals as far as possible to please the fleet users. Also private users like you are taken in by it as well and hence have problems later on that fleets dont care about as they ship them on.

You obviously haven't seen the sludge that builds up in the average BMW engine. Especially ones used for local/city driving.
BMWs service is right at the limit. Not helped when deelars have used the incorrect oil (not longlife).
Next time you happen across a BMW stuck in limp home due to a failed throttle adaption (due to a PCV valve blocked with sludge) or a BMW diesel thats blowing oil out the turbo seals (due to a sludged up breather filter)...think of this post

OK, I think this one may have missed a few services: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums...Number=1709990
I've no doubt changing oil at 60k would be a bad idea even before you posted that link!

Hi,
Lovely looking car, but I cant help feel the owner has wasted his money. I personally feel its price is too high, despite the low mileage and compared to what that £20K could buy now, would rather buy an 2rd hand RS4.
The owner must of paid around £40K+ for it, so thats nearly 20K loss for 8K miles ??
These type of finds are great for the next buyer, but such a waste in my eyes. Car should of never been brought in the first place.
