Don't; Its a poster car. In real life they are absolutely awful in every way barring its looks with the Vantage option/upgrade pack.
Rubbish build quality, especially the pre-facelift cars: Panel gaps all over the place - even the stamping for the bonnet and boot badges isn't central. The aluminium corrodes terribly where it meets the steal chassis and cracks on the A-pillars due to the chassis flex. Door/bonnet catches are off a Austin Mini (keeping a door closed that weighs four times as much), Interior door handles off Jag. Interior dash parts/instruments out of a Ford Granada, heater off a Jag XJ40. Hand stiched leather so overstretched it cracks and tears at the seams (this is the rear seats, which is only suitable for child amputees, so are never used). Steering wheel off 1990's Ford New York Taxi (airbag models). Front lights off a VW Corrado, Rear lights off a Scirocco.
And its absolutely horrible to drive. Vantage pack just makes it drive like a tank with no suspension. Diff/gearbox not matched to the engine's power output curve and bogs down terribly at low speeds, so the average modern turbo diesel embarases it from the traffic lights (hence the common 6.3 litre; and lower diff ratio upgrades by works service), and the standard brakes are massively underspecced for teh weight of the thing (requiring more works service upgrades). To cap it off, the standard exhaust totally masks the engines noise (hence more visits to works service for "upgades" 99% of AMs have these ).
EFi system is two 4cylinder Marelli ECUs off a Fiat cobbled together - one controling each bank, so two idle valves, two distributors, two throttle pots, two ecus, two temp sensors, two map sensors etc...pure daftness. Bentley Turbos and XJ-RS of the time were using bespoke Zytek systems.
Worst car AM ever made (albeit not a bad looker), and probably the worst £135K+ retail car ever made. Only saving grace is the Vantage v600 which by then had binned most of the Ford/VW parts bin scavenging and used a more sensible Ford EECIV EFi which can actually run a V8 with a single ECU. Its still a pig, but at least it performs (unless the timing chain jumps some teeth - again! ).
Seriously, stick to your Jags. Which are not without faults but a million times better made.

On that note: If we going to mention £100K+ Coupes: Continental T Le Mans edition (last of the proper Mulliner bodied Coupes).
And of course Ferrari 365GTB
Maybe a 250GT 2+2 or 330GT although the SWB two seaters version looked better

I will stay away from the Virage Ali, by the sounds of it they are a complete nightmare.I wouldn't mind a facelift 6.0ltr XJS, but as you say not without probs.Though are galvanised apparently.
