Default New toy for the snow

Just bought a full fat V8 Vogue on Wednesday as I have been snowed in for the last few days. My M5 is useless in the snow and I don't want to take the 911 out in this which will be as bad. It should pay for itself as I have managed to pick all the staff up that are "snowed in". It's getting a full detail on Sunday as I bought it from a trader who had just picked it up from a main dealer (that's not my plate). Not my first choice in colour but I got a great deal on it and it only has 60K on the clock. Snow.. what snow.

Bet you won't be jealous of my fuel bills. The 911 is an 996, the M5 is an older e39 and the wife want's me to get rid of the M5.

I wish, the plate would be worth more than the car. I agreed the deal and the trader came back to the house with new plates from the local bentley dealer and a new road tax disc.

Still, it's nice to throw those little letters and numbers into a conversation down the pub.... 'wasn't sure which car to bring, the M5, the 911 or the RR'

Nice cars them!

Just looking around and surprised you can pick these up for £10-15K now with average miles.

I think I will go and see a few this weekend! - Would like a bit of Range Rover action

Cheers Fella

No, the guy who sold it to me was a friends bother in law. He got it from a main RR dealer who don't sell cars over 60K miles. He normally sells cars to traders who then sell them on.

Whats happening with the plot ? Any further forward?

Good choice.
Kit was due on Wednesday but is sitting in the yard due to snow. All the founds and stuff are in and we are all set to go. Should be in end of April start of May.

Sounds good. I nearly bought a house just up from "us" on fallside road but due to me building a rural property & the fact the house required various degree's of upgrading i pulled out of the sale. Again heart ruling head, my old place is now down & the developer has PP for 6 x 4500 sq ft houses on it. I think he's waiting until the market stabilises before building.
Ps get a blog sorted for your build, i am thinking about doing one myself.

I will do a blog but all the photos I have are just now are not very interesting. How far on are you with your build. Are the six houses behind Farm court?

I bought myself a £600 Rav4 to fly about in during the snow. I've gotta say its a lot more capable than I thought it would be, i'm actually enjoying it!!

I've got it up for sale for 1400 and i'm getting 3/4 calls a day due to the snow but not worth selling at the minute.

Site is cleared, just waiting on revised PP before we get it started. Yeah the houses are going in there. There's 'ransom' slip that he is trying to get to allow access from farm court rather than upgrading the little road.

Cool, he lived up near Loch Lomond and from the business card I found in the car he owned a Sparky company.

I think a Discovery can carry the white off, kind of suits its less bling and more utilitarian image, an RR Sport just looks Gauche in white, well in any colour, but especially white.

I'm with you on the Sports. Every one round my way seems to have one.
