Very nice. Completely the right colour combo too. The TDV8 is a stonking engine and makes it quite good fun to drive considering its size. Have fun

cheers..had to be black/ivory... I've ordered some seat protectors to keep the seat tidy when taking the kids walking etc..plus the black carpets will help greatly.

The V8 goes like a scolded cat.... plus I am getting it mapped too so will be 280 bhp and a trillion torques by the end of next week!

Awesome looking machine.

The "rear entertainment" made me chuckle.

So what's the mpg on these things?

Looks nice, but I'd have gone for a Black leather interior, as those seats won't stay clean for very long. And what's the point if you then have to put seat covers on them?

Bet it's brilliant in the snow?

Nice, though I would imagine, being a pedant like I am you mean, "goes like Scalded Cat", rather than Scolded, I think the idea is more a cat that has had hot water on rather than one that has been told off, sorry cant help myself.

Our neightbours have just got a second RRSport, cant see why anyone would want two identical cars, one white, one black ?

MPG will be 18-20 around town. Maybe average 25 - 30 mpg on a trip

Based this on my old Discovery 3 which was the TDV6 engine so you may get slightly less with the V8.

Nice car

If you dont mind me asking but why buy from a main dealer ? There are cars out there for sale in the spec you require.
I've had numerous RR's from sports to Vogue SE's. In warranty they are the best vehicles ever made. Out of warranty ...................... **** that. They scare me!!!

Piece of mind i suppose. I'm after a Landrover approved car with a LR warranty. RRS's are expensive complicated cars and the thought of an independant garage warranty not paying out in the event of a claim puts me off.

TDV8 is listed as 25mpg combined
The TDV6 is listed at 27

My TDV6 gets 27-30mpg with my current commute/driving style...hell my STI only gets 24!...so it's still better than that LOL..

Agree, there are around 50 2nd hand TDV8's and 300 odd TDV6's on the franchise network mate... keep looking.... taken me a month to find this one.

I'l alo be buying a Waranty Direct "Franchise friendly" policy when the garage's warranty expires... Money well spent imho

You can just buy the Land Rover warranty. I bought my Disco privately and bought the Land Rover warranty. It cost me £1k but you can get the same warranty from the company direct for half the price.... someone on here will know the name, thats how I found out

Superb in the snow if it's anything like my discovery 3.

Black leather on a black car is too much black for my liking so it had to be ivory or alpaca, and the seat protectors are not covers, they are protectors that slip over the drivers and passangers seat backs to stop the kids scuffing their shoes up and down the leather!

What a beast! Cracking engine too.
Had a very smug LR moment today as two cars and a van failed to get up an icy hill. We just cruised up up, albeit in our much more basic Defender! Heated seats and windscreen are a boon!

Enjoy the Rangie!

Correct.

I have a Tiguan R-Line 170TDI.

It's ok in the snow, and powered up a snowy hill (in a car park) no problem (better than the Subaru ever could). But after a few runs, and the snow started getting compact and slippy, the Pirelli P-Zero's (Over kill I say) just lost grip. The car came to a stop, and started sliding backwards while the brakes were on full stop. Which after seeing the car sliding backwards towards a metal post, made me wince slightly. Luckily it stoped sliding less than half a metre before contact with said post.

Tried to get a set of winter tyres for it just last week, but no where sold winter tyres in 225/40 R19.

How much did you knock off their initial asking price? I'm considering a RR Vogue TDV8

Now the Snows here, forget it. The dealers have all probably stuck another Grand on the asking prices at the first sign of the White stuff.

You just know, that moments before exiting that junction, that he was bragging about how good 4WD is.

I learnt my lesson that 4WD isn't the be all and end all, after saying those exact words to my passenger moments before intruducing the front end of my dads Sierra Cosworth 4x4 to the nearest lampost, in the wet at the age of 18.

Yes you have to remember you're still driving a 2.5 tonne vehicle!!! Ice has no respect for anything, offroader or not!
Last year though, my D3 (with brand new grabber uhp's so not winter tyres) made minchmeat of that snow and I never felt like it was ever going to be halted, in fact one of the disco guys was filmed on national tv traversing snow drifts in his (he is part of the yorkshire rescue team)

If the sport is half as good as the d3 I'll be very happy
