Honda crv
Hi, i'm back again, after hearing about the X-Trails being a pile of poo, which i was sort of thinking anyway, would anyone have any real life experience of the Honda crv, i.e. fuel economy and reliability and how good they are for a bit of light off road work like wet fields and horsebox type stuff.

I had one about 6/7 yerars ago not the latest model but not too much different.
Fuel economy & reliability is excellent.
Above average than other MPV's etc in the snow & mud & probably better than a lot of so called big 4x4's.
On the road is where they will always feel a bit clumsy as do most 4x4/MPV's, hence why Im now considering an estate car for the family rather than an MPV/4x4.

It's a Honda so reliable as a swiss watch and well built, goes without saying, i have had 4 Hondas and all good including one with a similar 2.0l vtec engine, mine is a higher state of tune, 100k just passed and it is sweet as a nut. Regular oil and filter changes and they go for ever.
Know a few people who have had then and they never complain or seem to have problems.
Petrol may be heavy on fuel mind!
