VW passat help needed
Hi i need to find a vw passat 2.5 v6 tdi oil sump my dad was driving the car and it caught the floor and now the sump has been damaged. All the oil has leaked out and there is a crack in the sump.
I got a sum for my bora from ebay but for the passat i cant find one on ebay does anyone know where i can get one other than the dealers and hopefully at a decent price not too expensive.
I have already asked on a vw forum thought i would ask here aswell incase there were anyone who had some info.
Thanx for any help.

They are quite easy to ground, My uncle's Bora V5 suffered the same when he lent it to a mate, and I've scuffed my R32's sump slightly (not sure how, maybe it was the dead badger I ran over at 80mph ).
New ones aren't cheap as I believe they include the level sensor. But if you ever get stuck or need one ASAP they are available from Trade Parts Specialists (TPS) ( http://www.thetradepartsspecialists....codesearch.php )

Thanx for all the info guys i have been told it may be possible to get it welded/brazed so i need to get it to a garage and get it take off first to see if thats possible if not i have rang the dealers and the have told me it would cost £75.22 for a new one including VAT which isnt that bad so will see if it can be welded first.

Can't remember if it was the Scoob or BMW but both fairly low to the ground.
