Default Focus rs - a few around now eh ??

Seems the Focus rs is becomming a very popular car around the smallish town where I stay, have now counted a total off seven, green, 2 whites and the rest in blue. at £29k there is obviously still a few folk around with a bit off spare cash to splash !!!

must admitt they look stunning, been a while since a ford appealed to me so much but I must admitt the rs would be put on the lottery win list !!

anyone here driven one - seats alone look amazing ??!!

I took one for a test drive, its fast but I didn't like the toque steering problems. I drove it on a wet day and it was hard to keep on the road!!

ended up getting a 09 STI PPP hatch and love it, oh yes you don't see to many around, unlike the RS ;-)

Cheers

Have you seen the Volvo C30 Polestar ? Obviously the C30 is built on the Focus chassis, but with 400bhp and 4WD the Polestar could be what the FRS should have been. 0-62 is down to 4.6s and they reckon in testing it lapped their test track 6 seconds faster than a similar powered Evo X. How many Scoob and Evo fanatics will Volvo attract if they bring this to market I wonder ?

Quote " How do you know it was 7 different green ones, it might be the same one driving round the block "

read it again I said a total off seven, green, 2 whites and the rest in blue !!!

know the 7 were all differnt as two off them stay in the same street as me, one lives in a street I used to stay in and the other 4 were either wearing private plates or something else which were all different !!!

must say yours looking lovely in this green colour, a few mods already ?? I see a black roof ?? carbon fibre wrap ?? what other mods you carried out ?? fancy going for the rs500 conversion ??!!

must admitt since seeing the rs version it makes the st look very plain indeed !!

All joking aside your RS looks very nice ( love the roof).... I really had to think long and hard before buying my new car. after coming out of a re mapped Cupra R with 280bhp (very hard to drive) LOL I really wanted the RS to handle its power better than I felt it did ;-) So ended up in a "ugly" STI Hatch. with its 4wd it really does grip off the line ;-)

I not gone head to head with a RS as yet, but I think it would be good fun ;-) 4WD + 330bhp + ugly

Cheers

I'm doing up to 1000 miles a week at the moment and I see a lot of Focus RS's, love the look of them from the front. Also see a fair few R35 GTR's on my travels too.
