Even though they are a very cool motor and I would love to own one, I would not fancy the amount of money (and expense) I think is needed to get that beauty shining again.
Saying that, someone with deep pockets will buy it and no doubt make money if/when they choose to sell it!

You can hardly accuse the vendor of trying to hide the bad bits.
From that shot of the forward cabin, it looks as if you pushed the brake pedal then the whole front of the van would fall off! It's only held on by the gear-linkage and steering column.
You have to say that is well beyond economical restoration. If it was a classic Ferrari, then it'd be worth a go, but not that old heap. I guess it will be purchased by a surfing enthusiast (Matteeboy?), who wants to restore it for himself: I'll be surprised if he finishes the job before he's too old to surf though!
