Hi, i was just wondering if anyone has owned or knows a bit about the escort series 1 rs turbo,since i was a nipper i always fancied one,i am after a minter /collectors jobby not some ragged one.Wonder if anyone come give me some tips advice,i know they are a bit dated but they still have something special!!!cheers ryan

S1's are great cars and are making good money at the moment as long as there not rusting out....

I always wanted one too.
They were soo cool when i was a nipper.
They are about but rare to find a nice one that hasent been messed with. A mate of mine just got one about 3 months back after traveling the country he looked at loads that he said were poor.
He finally found a untouched and unabused one in wales, but cost him £3000. Best place to find one is in classic ford magazine, all the collectors sell minters in there. Some real nice mk2 rs 2000's.
