Its official, GM are killing Saab after failing to find a buyer, after have sold designs and production rights to the Chinese for the 9-3 and old 9-5.

Oh well - they've been rebadged overpriced Vauxhalls for many years now so no great loss.

Still a shame they lost their way though - they were fun once.

I have got one and I am not fussed, have had two and I wouldnt get another, they just arent a competitor for the Germans, especially at the list price, not that anyone pays that, they arent bad, they just arent that great, still they have been a cheapish alternative for me and my current one has done ok, just doesnt grab me, preffered the old 9-3 with its comedy handling and more characterful demeanour.
