Possible Sleeper of all sleepers in Hayes today!
I think I may have come across one hell of an original sleeper in Sainsburys Hayes -Middx this afternoon. Young lad with taking mum shopping in nothing more than one of these in an estate version in silver & far tattier:
Looked a bit odd from a distance as it looked like his suspension was knackered being so low? As it came close I realised it was slammed & riding 16" or 17" rims; then I noticed odd blue hoses around the front bumper, turned out to be silicone hoses attached to an oil cooler on the front bumper; & finally a side exit exhaust discreetly tucked under the drivers side sill, as well as on odd idling sound?????????
I wonder whats under there & how many cars he's surprised!!!

I would suspect that it was an intercooler you saw down by the bumper, oil coolers tend to use braided hoses.
Not an uncommon mod amongst the tuned 240 fratrernity to stick the 740/760 turbo running gear in.
