How do you check the diff oil on a Cossie?

There's a big allen key plug on the cover, top right I think as you look in from the back. I'd bash it a few times with a hammer first, then bash the allen key into it aswell, only try undoing it if your really confident you've got a tight fit, they have a nasty habit of rounding out Oh yeah, it'll prolly be really tight, but when it goes, it goes... like really goes!!
With the car on a level surface, with the plug out, oil should just to say drip out, if it doesn't, just top it up till it does, easy!!

Exactly as above, but you will find it's an absolute bastid to undo. When mine finally went, I smacked myself in the chin with the force I was putting in.

Best leave it to the pros then!!!
yeah ts making a low droning noise every now and again @ around 50.
thought I'd give it a check but if its a hassle then I'll get ford to do it.
