Default Bimmer specs

Guy at work's dad is getting on a bit, currently running some old Rover 75. He is looking to replace it and wants something comfy and reliable.

He has seen a 3 series new shape, it's SE trim which he's been told is for old people lol. Anyone know how that spec differs from the younger people specs?

Ok so I now know the "better" spec has different wheels, harder suspension and bodykit. Are there any differences in toys?

is it the very latest shape? on the E46 models the SE had climate and the ES had air-con

there were a few other differences - wheels, manual rear windows, steering wheel controls, etc

Thanks Robby, managed to get the BMW configurator working although it's not the easiest to use.
