Default Lexus GS430 V8 to sell on

Been offered one cheap, under 3k. on 53 plate. Cheapest on the Autotrader in this age group is 7.5k. But that was with 90k on the clock, this has double that. I know Lexus are good for it, especially with FLSH, but is it worth buying to move on?

I mean, its a big heavy high tax bracket car with a lot of miles. Are people still buying these cheap.
If I got it, I'd look to move it on for 5.5k to get it gone. Is it do-able?

cheers

I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. Extremly limited resale opportunity, even if it's cheap.

a) People don't want big, thirsty cars
b) People don't like big mileages

Mix the 2 together and I think you'd end up making nothing on it.

Go for it, Lexus' are rock solid and high tax bracket is only £210 a year, no biggy really. The monetary incentive is enough IMO. Get is 'detailed' spend some time on getting great pics and it will fly IMO.

Wouldn't touch it, I think with the milage you are going to struggle to make anything on it, may even end up losing money to shift it

I was worried that may be the case. But the website webuyanycar.com say they will give 3495 for it. I'm trying to get it for 2500, so even that has got to be a safe bet, hasn't it?

Assuming it's described accurately and they can't knock chunks out of the valuation, then yes. Except, I'd be wondering why the owner is seemingly so desperate to get rid and yet hasn't though of using webuyanycar.com themselves...
