Was followed by one on the M62 yesterday and it was like being chased by a spaceship Would have loved to see him boot it but the guy was out for a dawdle by the look of it. A few weeks back I was playing on a slip-road with a Scooby as he tried to exert his authority over everyone and couldn't get my little diesel Skoda out of his rear view mirror, only for an RS4 to blitz the pair of us God knows how humble the R8 would have made us feel

Must have been an Impreza Sport then!, Work on both R8's and RS4's not that great Ok the R8 looks the dogs and top end is way out of Impreza's league but properly driven RS4 V Properly Driven STI there isn't going to be much between them.

Wasn't a Sport ! My Furby runs 312 torques (lb/ft), which means in-gear acceleration is quite startling for what the car is. I have shown this to several Scoob mates, much to their amazement. The RS4 is similar with 317, but able to rev to 8.5k which is where the breathtaking surge of acceleration comes from, utilising the 414bhp. With the Scoob possibly only running 217 torques it would be found lacking against the RS4 here, and only similar to my diesel Skoda.
