Are they trying to beat Mercedes in having the most models for sale at any one time

I don't know what BMW are playing at!

Mercedes seem to have gone off the rails in the past few years, with some of their models looking like a cross between traditional mercs and a Kia. New C-Class looks sh1te compared to the old model, and clearly sales are well down based on the amount you see on the road.

BMW's have gone plain odd looking (all models bar the 3 series anyway), but most people seem to have bought them anyway due to good build and driving experience, but won't be the case for long.

They seem to make a model for EVERY niche in the market. Expect the '5-series TH' soon, with an extended roof-line for people who like to wear a top-hat while driving

I think BMW should go back to designing unique styles for there cars, instead of catering for different niches.

I guess I am alone in thinking BMW has very strong styling cues that are uniquely BMW. What is wrong in providing for muliple niches - isn't that about providing what the customer wants?

I like this car - currently have a 530d Touring Sport and this would be a great replacement. Don't really want another Touring but like the practicality.

It's definitely a case of "bums-to-the-wall" when parking either of those two beauties!

That BMW lane (aka as the 3rd lane of the motorway) is going to be busy with all these different models

So true, I just can't like any of them. I respect BMW engineering, but just remain amazed at the continued styling methodology of a Tractor. Fugly cars! Sorry, modern bmw owners!

They had it right up to a couple of years ago!
