Escort Cosworth Parts
Always loved the Escort Cosworth. Always said I'd love to buy a mint Imperial Blue one.
Anyway, seen one up for sale. Trouble is, it must be the only Cossie I've seen that was ordered without the Whale-tail.
Anybody know anywhere that sells Parts for Cosworths?
Phoned the local Dealer, but was told `NO` without him even looking on his system. I'm sure there was someone on here last year who bought a Red Cosworth, and said Ford still have loads of parts left over.
It's at totaly the wrong time for me financialy (Due to work issues) but this car might be too good to pass by.
Also, anyone driven a standard Cosworth recently? Disapointed? How do they stack up these days to modern cars? Not looking for a street racer to take on Subaru's. Just want one to say I've owned one. Just want to take it out on a weekend and waft around.
Might do the odd mod, (Lowering springs, 18" Alloys, Stage 1 chip) but all simple mods that can be put back to standard anytime. Although might just keep it standard and enjoy it that way.

I used to love these cars - always wanted one. But, have a read of Evo this month and they're comparing an Escort cossie with the Focus RS. The chap reviewing the Cossie said when he first drove one he though it was amazing but reckons that the cossie hasn't aged too well in comparison to other cars around today and a hot hatch would be a better drive. Worth a read!
