Vauxhall are coming out with some rather decent cars of late, we will see those VXR Insignia's all stickered up and sitting at the side of the motorway soon and with the new astra out at the end of this year, more power from the VXR cars?

In this bull**** world of 'Global Warming' and 'We must all drive the Prius', it is ace to see a car maker still bringing out performance models. Good on them!

I was on track with one last month. It was testing during TF on the Nurburgring Nordschleife so followed it round. Looks like it had a heavy nose, I noticed understeer and a lot of tyre squeal.

Must weigh quite a bit if 320bhp and 4WD can only get it to 60mph in 5.8 seconds.

Wonderfully non-PC Looks fantastic to me, but I can't see the Godzilla looks troubling Audi/BMW much.

If it's cheap, doesn't weigh two tons, and gives up a willing 400-plus with a chip, I can see that becoming a petrol-heads' classic, almost in the Lotus Carlton mould.

Price is right, figures are right maybe when it hits the second hand market it might be worth a punt.
Hopefully it wont turn into a vauxhall laughing stock like some of the previous hot cars they have made.
Its not the car for me but its nice to see some petrol heads managed to sneak the design past the green brigade.

I like it and am glad no one has yet said "but it's a Vauxhall"

My Astra has been a surprise hit - I hated Vauxhalls for ages then liked the mk5 Astra. It's still going strong and upsets many a BMW/Audi with it's stealth oopmh (not loads but quicker than it looks).

This Insignia looks good - might test one myself I think. Now if the dealers weren't so dire (down here) I'd be even more interested.

I wish it had a 4 cylinder up front, the v6 will be too heavy!
