a bit of summer fun
first decent day and I got my kit car out of hibernation to change the oil , ready for the spring & summer
never been a fan of convertibles on "proper" cars, you seem to pay more for less (in almost every way)
but this is cheap fun motoring at its best
PS I didn't build it -- bought it off the builder

I would love to say a ford Cosy lump, or my personal choice would be a Toyota 1.6 DOHC out of the Corolla GTi
but its a bog standard Ford DOHC 2.0 ltr
ah ah Paul, I know I’m going to sound like a right "girl" but I have no idea what it pumps out -- its quick, but not frighteningly so
tbh I have had it about 5 years, and spent nothing on it really, its ultra reliable though, every year I drive it to the MOT and it always passes first time, my spare cash has gone into restoring my 1964 Mini Cooper S
its just a bit of fun really -- but as a pose it out ranks most things, I used to use it quite a bit in central london, and would quite often get little kids going "mummy mummy look at that"
although the mum prob thought "what a prat"

I like it, the Ford lump is probably around 130BHP in stock form although i guess the power to weight is the key here.
It looks great and i i bet it is a lot of fun, 1964 Mini Cooper S as well eh, got any pics of the restoration so far?
