Default Anyone got a Mazda 6 ?....

I'm looking at at Mazda 3 and a Mazda 6 on saturday. Just had a quick look at the 6 in the dark, looks pretty good. We're getting a new car as my wife is pregnant. Just drove the 3 and I've gotta say it was quite impressive, 2 litre sport, had quite a bit of grunt and was well stocked with gadgets and gizmos.

Haven't driven the 6 yet but just wondered if anyone has one or has driven one and can maybe compare the 3 and 6. The model we looked at was the TS2 with 2 litre engine on a 55 plate. Lovely spec and in good condition, 32000mls for 6K.

Any help would be appreciated peeps!

Mike.

Had a Mazda 6 Sport as a courtesy car for 3 days when someone ran into my car.
Was a lovely car to be inside, good torque levels for overtaking, good handeling, think mine was 150bhp ish.
I would definately consider one in the future, mine had the Bose sound system whic I thought was fantastic, it was fully specced, only thing it was missing was sat nav and reversing sensors, which I need as my drive is really narrow.

Once the 180bhp diesel comes out, I'm going to test one.

You need satnav to get up your drive?

Just strikes me as a bit bland, lot of car for the money though, just not inspiring.

had a ts2 estate at work, in the nice blue,
it was a bit cheap but quite nippy, the computer did the mpg in lires per 100 km that was annoying but otherwise it was nice

Cheers guys. And you're right jamescsti- reversing sensors would be the only thing I'd add to the car (my drive isn't big enough for the satnav issue ).

Having thought about it today my wife and I have pretty much decided on the 3, but we're gonna drive the 6 anyway by way of a sort of comparison. And yes MattW...it's a lot of car for the money, for both the 6 and the 3.

Thanks again peeps.

Well people, we managed to buy our new car today. We paid 6K for a 55 plate Mazda 3 2-litre sport. It's a VERY clean car and comes with all the toys so we're well pleased. Cheers for your help!!!
