How do z4 and evo 8 compare to my 350 bhp sti
Always liked the above cars and wondered how they would compare to my 350 bhp sti8.
The 3 litre z4's are reasonably cheap these days and are similar priced to the sti's.
Also the evo has always been on my list but dont really know anything about them. The 260 models are also cheap now but not sure how slow it would feel. Would i need to be looking at fq 360 for similar performance.
Anyone owned any of the above cars, would just like a bit of info on cost of ownership/performance etc

The Z4 is a huge step up in terms of quality from what you've been used to but I'd recommend one of the later 260bhp models which won't be as quick as your current vehicle but the power delivery is far more linear than an Impreza.
Running costs should be less in terms of servicing, certainly more fuel efficient with insurance about the same. The Z4M is still out of your budget, despite residuals from hell but may be worth a think about in a few years time should there be any further falls.
