Question Anyone fitted Subaru WRX/STI front seats into a Daihatsu YRV Turbo?

Looking at swapping my Standard YRV turbo front seats for some WRX/STi ones. Has anyone done this? What would I need to modify them etc...?

I would hazard a guess the sub frames will be completely different, not sure on the market for YRV subframes and after market seats, you would probably have to look at them being custom made

Any ideas if I needed to do this where I could get custom made subframes from?

Don't think you'll have much joy getting a cusotm subframe might be worth getting one made as nothing off the shelf for this car its bad enough with the Sirion and Charade Gtti that we far more popular

Yes, I'm sure it's a very common swap.

What's a YRV?

This is a YRV turbo, mine before I started to modifiy it see "View my Scooby" for a list of mods I have put on :

And if it's a common swap then I could do with getting hold of a subframe to fit some WRX/STi seats. The standard seats on the YRV arn't that great.

The YRV stands for "Young Recreational Vehicle" it's a 1.3 Litre 16V DOHC with a form of Toyota VVTi and a Turbo charger that produces around 127BHP.

Anyone know if the seat subframes on Early Mitsubishi Lancer Evos will fit in a YRV? Now looking at this as an alternative.
