Sorry guys but gotta ask....
Does anyone have an E36 BMW by any chance?!?!
I recently got one as my run around so I'm not driving the Scooby all the time...
My question is....does anyone know where the radio antenna is?? I believe it's in the rear windscreen but I changed the stereo today and there isn't a cable at all...does this mean it's been removed or what??
I've never known a car not to have an aerial before!!
My E36 M3 Cabrio had a proper aerial but this is a compact!! Bloody thing!!
Any help or advice would be much appreciated guys....
Cheers

The aerial is in the rear screen, just check that the cable hasn't fallen down behind the dashboard. From what I remember it's only very short and not the normal type of plug. I think I had some kind of short lead with normal aerial plug on one end to fit the headunit and socket to fit the BMW plug at the other end ?

Ahh right....cheers mate I will take the radio out tomorrow and check.
I checked pretty thoroughly behind there but I will check again and buy a new one if necessary. Do you know where it plugs into?? Does it plug into that main block? Not the iso block but the other one??
Cheers mate

its a thin black coax with a square plug on the end youll need a converter from hal-frauds. its also boosted i think so youll need to connect the auto ant wire to it if i remember rightly they are taped together.

Cool....located the thin black coax, it had been cut for some reason so just gotta get hold of the connector with the standard aerial connector on it and I should be rockin n' rollin!!
