ESCORT RS COSWORTH
Have wanted one of these for years ...........so i went to Jersey and bought one. Ooooh baby its a minter, 40k FFSH Big turbo Lux model. It looks like it just came out of the showroom. Some nice proper tastfull mods, Stage 3 (340 on the rollers) 6 pots up front, koni adjustables, power flex, 18" rondells. All done last year and only covered 387 miles since. I'm amazed by the balance of the chasis, it's so adjustable on the throttle and never seems to give up grip and even at 7000 rpm its still pulling like a train The road presence is enormous, it looks like it could swallow you up Trouble is, its that mint i'm scared to use it.

Yeah, Pics please.
TBH though, I think I'd prefer an un-modded one. Good choice of car though. Love Escort Cosworths.
There was a mint Black Escort Cossy on PistonHeads. £24k though
Bruche Motors Ltd : Ford Escort RS Cosworth Large Turbo

I like them, but 24 grand for an Escort, no matter how much regard they are held in thats a lot of money, but then Ford fans are a strange breed, case in point being the clamour for crumbly Mk1 and 2 shells.
I can just imagine telling my missus I had spent that much on a car, and then telling her its an Escort.

If i told you, youd be gutted. I took a chance going to Jersey to look at a car, that i knew nothing about. But as they say, nothing gained. The rotors on the front brakes aren't even marked. Not a mark on the interior-the bodywork and even the rims are totally untouched, to be honest i'd have no hesitation in showing it. Untill i had the alarm and tracker fitted yesterday, all it had was the original ford horn alarm
