Sounds silly I know but when DC can Camo a car and make it look that good, maybe the stripes might look ok - rally look hass been done to death anyway!

They dont look right. If its your car, no disrespect meant, but the striping on the old RS models was more pointed at the ends, if i remember rightly. Strangely, though there are no images on google, that I can find.

The old Turbosystems Cossies - I remember being at the RSOC national day at Donington in 1992 and every other car had tiger stripes.

I think they are probably very "colour sensitive".........white car with blue stripes looks good, but if your Scoob is a different colour I'm not sure how well it would work.
I was a fan of them on Cossies back in the day though...........particularly the skimpy swimming cossies worn by svelte and athletic young ladies
I actually prefer the "chequered flag" graphics as per Frayz' car.........subtle.

Great Video, saw it a few weeks ago on Men & Motors, Found a few more of the alternative as used on the works cars, Can't remember any works cars ever running with the ones shown in the video, possibly due to lack of space for sponsors logo's etc? But they didn't last too long as later cars ran in Repsol Colours. Very popular with Ford Tuners in the early 90's hence the copy's. Not too sure they would work on a modern day Subaru, A bit like when Ford put Martini logo's on the Focus just didn't look as good as they did on Lancia's

I think you're confusing the Escort Cosworth and the Sierra Cosworth. The Escort Cosworth rally car had different stripes to those on the Sierra (as shown in the pictures).

Nah, don't think the rally Sierras ever had tiger stripes, some had straight, varying width stripes on the rear quarters like on some RS200s. The WRC 3 doors were I think Q8 sponsored on a dark blue or black and the sapphires were mobil or autoglass sponsored, white with a blue and red rim.
The sierras with tiger stripes came about after the launch of the escort wrc with stripes as in the video.
(But I am ready to be corrected )
