hello folks, dont often venture in here but here goes...

I have been offered a mint (in better nick than my current 2 year old car) jag s type 54 plate, high miles 1 owner (90k) but with 12 month warrenty. Fully loaded, nav, 17 alloys, leather, everything electric, parking sensors etc.

It is £6500.

I need a cheaper motor that is executive type and this seems cheap to me, I was also offered a 5 series by same guy that is y reg with similar spec and miles for 6k.

I appreciate some dont like jags but would like opinion on value for money.

Both far too much money in my opinion, would see the 5 series at around £4000 and the jag at about £5000 on a good day, especially if they are both petrol models. If the jag is diesel, then it is another story.
