Classic Car Club - Worth it?
Was thinking, rather than spending 3 or 4K to get a slightly newer / different car - what about spending the same sort of money for memebership to CCC (or indeed similar club - although not the big money supercar clubs, I'm not that rich!)
Plus points:
Some nice (and to extent different) cars
BMW 635CSi
BMW Z4M Coupe
Couple of Bentleys
Daimler
and the lure of the old classic jags / mustang / porsche
Minus points:
Would you actually have THAT many days driving them, with the points system a couple of longish weekends in the nicest cars you might not have too many points left...
Anyone a member, past or present? What are the cars like? Any other similar clubs to consider?

I was a member for about 6-7 years. Joined after getting bored of every car i had after six months. I was their youngest ever member at 21. I never really used them at weekends and got about 50-60 driving days each year mainly in the best cars. Cars are a lot better now than a few years ago but the choice seems more limited imo although they seem to change them more often which is good. They are a great bunch and i never had any problems with them. Then again i never damaged a car though lol.
They don't have enough cars that take my fancy at the moment (that i've not driven already) so i'm hanging fire until I join again...
I'm in London for some business on Tues so might pop in and say hi actually
