New clutch for 2002 Audi TT 225
Hi all
One of me mates has just had the clutch let go in his TT (the pedal is on the floor !!). He cant get any dealer or Audi specialist local to him (Reading) to touch it in less than 2 weeks.
Does anyone know any independant places that could do this locally ?

Dave, try giving these guys a call NVS and get him to ask if he can get Rob (he's my brother in-law and he's an ex Audi mechanic of some 10 years or so and just missed out on sitting his final exams before becoming one of their top level Master Tech mechanics!) to do the work.

Is he sure its the clutch itself and not the pedal mechanism thats failed.
I have heard of this on S3's and imagine its possible on TT's
Nik.

^^ I've seen the pedal fail on some Golfs...the master cylinder rod pokes through the pedal. You can put a nut and bolt through the pedal to get you going.

Dave, I spoke to Rob last night and he's not sure if they are allowed to do clutch's (given they don't actually have any ramps) so your mate might not be in luck with them I'm afraid.
