Well iv just had my x type sport for a week now. And its fantastic. done around 600 miles in it just cos its new and i love it. Paid £12,500 for it on a 06 plate with 12,000 miles in Met Grey.

MPG wise 40-45 its a 2.2d one.

red leather and suede, and titanium bits on the dash. will get some pics up soon.

HIGHLY recommended.

shame about the hard ride and plasticky interior though. Dropping 8k a year in first three years is a killer.

lol, you must be looking at a different car mate, cos its far from plasticky inside and its just under 18 months old, and I paid 12,500, so if your theory is correct in 18 months time It will be worth £500!

If you know where there are any three year old x type sports for sale for £500, I would buy one now!

My mate has one, yep rock hard ride and interior is not good, number plates keep falling off also
