Post Bentley Continental Saloon, how big?

Just got a call from a mate,

He needs me to look after his Bentley Continental Saloon, now it has to fit in my garage, which luck would have it is a couple of feet wider than a standard single one. Now I can normally get my scooter in at the side when I've carefully put the scoob all the way to one side, just a bit concered about the length i.e if i'll be able to get scoot in an out with the bently.

so if any one knows the length and width i'd be greatful.

cheers ray t

Exactly which model is it?

Have a look here

The Continental GT is over 4.8m

Cheers,
think its the 2006 model definatly 4 doors, I know when the scoobs in there i've got 3 to 4 feet extra length in the garage, but better get the tape measure out in the next couple of days!

It's quite surprising how little difference there is in modern car lengths. A Ford Fiesta is 3.9m and a Mondeo Estate is 4.8m, there's barely 3ft in it.

I keep having this problem when choosing a new car and the wife says "it's too long" yet it's barely a foot longer than whatever we have at present.

Check the width. It's all well and good that it fits in but no good if there's no room to open the door to get out LOL

If it does fit, do what I do with my garage; Nail a piece of old carpet to the wall so that when you open the door it presses against that rather than getting it chipped against the brickwork.
