Default Is there such a car?

Not looking to change my car yet but I can't help but keep looking through Pistonheads / Audottrader etc for something that might fit the bill.

Cost: Approx £15,000
Annual mileage: Approx 6000 miles

Is there anything that fits the following requirements:

a. slow depreciator
b. roughly 5 second car to 60
c. good handling
d. slightly practical
e. desireable (quick to sell when push comes to shove)
f. decent servicing say up to £1000 a year

I've looked at all sorts, M5, WR1, FQ-320, Supra, Integra, RS4 (B5)

Can anyone suggest anything?

Nice car r4lly, I saw that yesterday although TBH I do prefer the red version.

I have thought about the TME before but you always seem to see them for sale. Is there still a market out there for the mark vi? Especially with the newer models becoming cheaper in price?

My knowledge of the TME isn't great, how quick are they?
Quicker than my current car, E34 M5?

Red does look

But white is the best colour!...

The TME is an Icon and will always be. Although the newer models are nice, they lack in the charachter and appeal of the TME..... Which is why although other Evo's have become cheaper these have floated at around the same price for a while.... There will always be a market due to the appeal it has.

0-60 is under 5 seconds and 1/4 mile is about 13's....
Mitsubishi Lancer Register

However this has been mapped to 1.5 bar and has been RR'd at 305 bhp.

With a De-cat, fuel pump and a tweak, you are looking at around 350/350.

Definitely faster than the E34, one of my colleagues has it and was extremely impressed by it's performance.
The grip generated by Evo's is unbelievable especially with the help of some V.Expensive Ohlins....

RS500 looking at the figures has approx 100bhp less than mine and has a recorded 0-60 of the same time.

Main reason I'm thinking of chainging is because I find my car a bit slow on the uptake. You really have to cane it to get going. Which is a shame as it looks stunning.

Can't see the Evo being that much better in terms of handling. The Nurburgring developed suspension is pretty good.

Still spent quite a bit of time over at the Lander Register.
The TME does looks interesting, I'm a bit nervous about modding the M5 but the TME seems more susceptible..

My 15K would probably go on a very good 968CS although one isn't going to get to 60 in 5 seconds.............personally I'd keep the E34 though!

Was going to suggest a 968 - they're not much above 6secs to 60, if anything

I just don't enjoy driving the car that much to be honest. Not sure why and in my eyes it feels a bit slow, 340bhp but it's a very heavy car.

RS2, how easy would it be to find a RHD version and as stated I suspect you'd have to wait for a real enthusiast to buy it off you.

968 is a nice car and they always seem to hover around the 10k mark but to be honest it's nowhere near quick enough.

Quite like the look of the Evo ix GT, admittedly it's a bit more expensive but I don't think it'll depreciate very quickly year on year.

You would be pleasantly surprised with the handling of an Evo with Ohlins...

Evo engines are extremely tuneable and give relatively huge power gains with small mods....

Come and see it and take it for a test drive, Guaranteed you would not regret it.
