Just about to do this... BMW wanted £380..??!

Question is, is there a way to reset the pad wear indicator?

unless its different from most cars.usually a wire is buried into the pad and as the pad wears down the wire is exposed and contacts the disc thus making a circuit to illuminate a bulb on the dash.new pads will solve this automatically.

Well its got a seperate wear sensor, which is a one trick unit, so off to BMW to get one...

On the plus side its got 4 new pads on it now.. so will be a quick fix.
