Difficult to say for a car like that. There are very few good cars left in Japan: if there were more you could approximate their lowest value at least. Lower grade cars sell for £1500 or maybe less, but theyre usually given a flick and a spam-up before theyre retailed here.....

It's appeared at the place I work - was just seeing what it should be.

If it's genuinely mint, you're looking at between £8k (realistic) to £10k (museum exhibit quality). If it's rough or the "tuning" is in any way questionable it could be worth £6k or even less depending on level of roughness.

As a guide, I paid £9k for a "middle" condition R33 (i.e. not perfect but not shagged either)

£4,000 is a strong price to pay for a tatty GTS-T Type-M, manual or not.

If it has these "extras" then I would say it has a bit more than the quoted 280ps - standard power.
I'm not sure you can call an ECU an extra though as the car wouldn't run without one! I guess it suggests an ECU remap?

Nick

edited to say I've just realised who the author is! Or sh*t, time to hide under the desk....

I would take that as aftermarket ECU.

They can be had from £5k now, for half decent examples

So, if it was around the £2k mark it could be a good buy ....... but up around £5k it's more doubtful?
