Default 3 - Door Cossies, Bloody Marvellous!

Having personally owned one (and still miss it) I can personally vouch for this.
Here's more evidence (if any was needed)

Yummy!

As well as that, have a look at this video. This one is with anti lag. The driver enters rallies as car 0 and then drifts the hell out of all the stages.
camera embarquee - Video
I just love the way he exits every corner leaving a huge number 11 on the tarmac
Beautiful cars!

When I was 17 there was a Moonstone Blue 3 door near home, my heart used to skip a beat when I saw it, a Ferrari or Lambo was less worthy of my attention.

Anyone who has an unmollested 3 door cossie with low miles in a garage is sitting on a very nice asset, total classic.

I have always loved the 3 door cosworth, back in 86 dreamed about owning one. It never crossed my mind to buy one as i grew up, work, family, and grown up things seem to take over your life.

After owning several Impreza's, I am stoked to say I have just put a deposit down on one of these very cars

A 1987 D plated in white, really can't wait to pick her up.

Thanks guys.

AstraBoy the Cars from Bedford area,

Paul the spec is pretty much standard in the engine department, although it does have brand new Koni's and eibach's all round.

I don't expect it to any near as quick as my Impreza's, but to be fair have no direct knowledge of Cosworths, but it is fairly prestigious and one of my dream cars.

Pretty sure I will be posting can any one help threads pretty soon

You might be surprised I had a 265bhp Legacy turbo before my Cosworth and the Cosworth as standard still felt faster than the Legacy. I've now made a few modifications to it and it's had a live remap and it's way faster than my sisters classic wrx that is pushing around 280bhp.

If you are looking for more power I'd recommend the NMS gunship. It's what I have. It's a live remap done on the road and it doesn't need many mods. That gives 295bhp & 320lbft which in such a light car gives surprising performance.

I feel me and you may become good friends althought the knowledge will be all one way

Those figures are really very good, and something close in my 3 door will leave me leaving my signature on most roads

NMS gunship forgive my ignorance is that a tuning device or a tuner or both ?

sorry if i come over like a numpty

The Gunship is a management chip for your ecu (level 1 in your case) and it's mapped to your car and mods. It's done by Karl Norris from Norris Motorsport (not designs) and Karl is based not far from you in Derbyshire.

See Engine tuning, Cosworth stages 1-6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on his website here Norris Motorsport

That's ok. Honestly though that conversion has to be seen to be believed it produces so much torque that on my way home I thought it was pulling really really well for 3rd gear until I realised I was actually in 5th gear

Couldnt remember where you were up to with it, read the thread, a BMW with a sense of humour, 316 badged M3, fits in with my idea of the perfect Q car.
