Default Track car update

A quick update on my current project car.

I havent seen the old girl in the flesh yet, but other than a couple of minor issues that the painter will put right once we have finished rebuilding, all is good.
I am very pleased with the result.
The paint is 997 GT3RS orange and apparently takes loads of coats and is a pain to apply The interior is the same colour but in matt. Once the black seat, black flocked dash, black wheels, black anti slip floor, black trim is on it will look fine and dandy..... Well I think so anyway
Oh and the chrome bits will be black too

Still have it for now - slowly putting it back to std and may sell it then. Hopefully doing Oulton before that though in November, so no rush

It will stay with the standard 325 engine till it goes pop. Then when time and money allows something with a little more grunt will be slotted in.

However, power isnt everything

I love full-on track car projects. Mine took about 2 years and really enjoyed the experience of it all, the research, the decisions etc. I've only done 2 tracik days withg it since the rebuild (that was 18 months ago) and just about to get it 100% to start tearing up the tarmac again

I'd love an E30 M3 as a track car....hmm just the car to focus those handling skills
