credit where credit is due - Toyota service
Lots of posts moan about official services. Put my RAV4 in for its 60 000km service, got a phone call from the dealer at 2pm. "Sir, we'd just like your permission to replace the air filter [not normally changed at that service] and the windscreen wiper rubbers."
Considering all the stories I hear about people having their brake discs changed without permission, I thought that was quite good

On the other hand Jaguar used to (do not know if they still do) charge £6.00 for the lint free cloth wipe they use to clean the dipstick when checking the oil level.
Cheap and twice the price!

I was recently thinking about all the comments of a Jaguar being "just a rebadged Mondeo."
No-one calls a Mondeo "just a rebadged Jaguar" do they?
I wonder if Ford charge for the cloth to wipe the dipstick too?
