Mazda 323 hesitation problem

Mazda 323 hesitation problem
Ok then
my99 323 GTI
It hesitates, feels like it is missing but if i pull the plug leads in turn it make no difference
It only does this intermittently and unually only when it has been on a run and stopped - only does it under these circumstances, never from cold.
If i then stop it on a slope (nose up) and start it a few times it then runs fine.
Changed the complete exhaust - baffles in back box collaped and trashed the cat - oh joy!
Changed the air intake temp sensor
Any thoughts???
